Will does not have a single face. It has a thousand declensions, a thousand latitudes, a thousand stories that have never been written down. And yet it is recognisable. It can be seen — if one knows how to look. This series is born from the conviction that the photographic portrait, in its most essential form, does not serve to document an identity. It serves to bear witness to a presence. Not who this person is, but what they carry within them. Not the name, but the substance. Every face here is a world unto itself. Every gaze is an answer to something that is not shown — a hardship, a loss, a choice, a silent resistance. The world does not know their names.
